About BangmodStorage
BangmodStorage is an S3-compatible object-storage service operated from data centres in Bangkok and Singapore. We exist because object-storage pricing should be predictable and transparent, and because not everyone wants their data hosted by US hyperscalers.
We are built on Ceph with default 4+2 erasure coding, designed for eleven nines of object durability. We implement the S3 protocol against the AWS reference, not against a watered-down subset; the compatibility matrix lists exactly what we support today.
Honest pricing
Every line of your bill is a metered, displayed unit: storage by GB-month, egress by GB transferred, PUT and GET requests in millions. No "simple" pricing tiers that hide charges, no per-region surcharges baked into the advertised rate.
Data residency
You choose Bangkok or Singapore at bucket-creation time and data stays there. We do not replicate across regions without your action. Multi-region customers receive separate invoices from the Thai and Singapore entities so tax compliance follows the data.
Tax-compliant invoicing
Thai B2B customers receive full RD-compliant tax invoices (ใบกำกับภาษีฉบับเต็ม) with gapless sequential numbering and 50-tawi withholding-tax certificates. Singapore customers receive GST-compliant invoices. We're building toward e-Invoicing for both jurisdictions.
Security posture
AES-GCM encryption of secrets at rest with KEK wrapping. TLS 1.2+ for all API traffic. Append-only audit log of every admin action, retained for 7 years per RD/IRAS requirements. SSE-S3 default, SSE-C supported. SOC 2 attestation in progress for Enterprise customers.
